Shawn Ray was born and raised in the Four Corners area. Working in the tourism and resort industry lead him and his wife Sarah to many ski towns chasing there passion of skiing and enjoying the great outdoors. Naturally, growing up in this area, his love of the outdoors runs deep. There spontaneous and adventurous mentality has lead them to travel the world, skiing, hiking, camping, hunting, and fishing.

Before settling down in the Durango area Shawn Ray and his Wife moved to Uganda in East Africa as missionaries serving orphans and widows. He ran a street program that feeds and educates street children as well as helped orphanages in the bush with self sustainability projects. They served in Kampala, Uganda for two years and started a family there. Now, they have 3 children Jethro, Wiley and Olive.

In the winter of 2014 Shawn Ray came to Coldwell Banker Heritage House Realtors as there Director of Photography. His enthusiasm of real estate has led him to get his real estate license and pursue this career. Living at Vallecito Lake and it being part of his families weekend vacations, he is focusing his efforts to serve as an expert to buyers and sellers in the Vallecito Valley area.
